When mention about the local food in Taiwan,
it must talk about meatball.
The story of meatball is 186 year ago,
when there was a big flood in Zhanghua.
After big flood, there was nothing left,
but only sweet potatoes.
The local people start using sweet potatoes and
pounded the sweet potatoes into powders.
They mixed the powders with water and
made sweet meatballs.
However after a while,
everyone was becoming tired of the sweetness.
Then, they added salt instead of sugar,
and made salt meatballs.
Later on, people added pork and bamboo shoot.
As a result, meatball became so popular.

" Since (肉圓生)" is the most famouse meatball restaurant in Taiwan.
" Since" is located at Chunghua.
Most of meatball shops are in Chunghua.
" Since" is the most famouse one and,
it has over 100 years history. (Woooo~~~)

The picture above is the restaurant.
It doesnt have any branch in other city.
So, you will always can see people are on the line.
You either can eat at " Since," or oder to go.
However, personally I love to order to go.
The restaurant will use this pretty box to pack the meatballs
when the customers order to go.
Look at the design, isnt so nice?

Before you eat, it is better if you can re-heat them again.
Of course , if you eat at restaurant, you dont have this trouble.
Inside of meatball are : pork and bamboo shoot.
Looks so nice ~~~, isnt it?
